General CTV File Requirements
To ensure your CTV creatives are formatted correctly across supported platforms, follow these general video, audio, and track requirements.
FT File Type
- MP4
- MOV
HD Resolution
- 1280 x 720
- 1920 x 1080
SEC Duration
Available durations typically range from 6 seconds to 60 seconds, depending on the publisher platform.
AU Audio
- PCM or AAC-LC; AAC-LC is preferred.
- AAC audio bitrate of 192 Kbps or higher.
- 48 kHz audio sample rate.
VP Video Profiles
- MOV: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), Apple ProRes 422, or Apple ProRes 422 (LT).
- H.264: Baseline, Main, or High profile.
BR Minimum Bitrate
- MOV 720p: 42,000 Kbps or higher.
- MOV 1080p: 80,000 Kbps or higher.
- H.264 720p: 8,000 Kbps or higher.
- H.264 1080p: 12,000 Kbps or higher.
AV Track Conformance
The file must contain one video track and one audio track. Both tracks should have identical durations, with a maximum tolerance of 500 milliseconds.

QR codes are not permitted
Do not include QR codes in Netflix CTV creatives.
Publisher-served files
Third-Party Creative CTV Guidelines
Third-party trafficked creatives may require multiple renditions for different publishers, devices, and connection speeds.

N NBCU
All four NBCU renditions are required
High, medium, low, and mezzanine renditions must all be supplied for NBCU inventory. A missing file will prevent the creative from serving.
